About — Essex Family & Engagement Photographer
When I'm not photographing families or teaching, I love playing badminton, swimming, and travelling to new places with my two children and fiancé.
Meet the Photographer
hello, i'm noor
I'm a family and engagement photographer based in Essex, also photographing across Suffolk and the East of England.
Aside from the time we give, photographs are one of the most meaningful investments we make in our families. These are the photographs your children will one day return to, to see how much they were loved.
I take on a limited number of sessions each month so every family and couple receives my full attention- from planning your session to helping you choose artwork that will live beautifully in your home.
My Story
My photography journey began at school, developing film in the darkroom as well as exploring photoshop for the first time (and learning a lot along the way!). Once my son was born I loved documenting his milestones and creating photo albums to preserve our memories.
I enjoyed it so much that it led me to pick up the camera professionally in 2013, photographing families and weddings. In 2020, I paused my business to train as a secondary school Geography teacher- and today, I balance both.
My approach
My style is relaxed, warm and cinematic. You don't need to know how to pose, as I gently guide you into the best light, and for families, let the real hugs, play and personality unfold.
I’m drawn to natural landscapes: beaches, woods and fields. As an Essex family photographer, I’m lucky to photograph in some of the most beautiful locations across the East of England. I also love at-home sessions, where your story as a family or couple begins.
Raising two children plus years in the classroom has taught me how to connect with children, put parents at ease and create a calm atmosphere. Whether your child is energetic or shy, I create a space where they can be themselves.
Families tell me they love how relaxed and effortless their sessions feel.
Artwork for your home
I offer prints, framed art and heirloom albums because your family's story deserves to be displayed and passed down, not lost in a digital folder.
If my work feels like the right fit, I’d love to hear from you. Most families book several months ahead, as I take on a limited number of sessions each month, so I recommend enquiring early to secure your preferred date.
